What is RocketGo?
The app for the RocketGo service helps tourists to find the most interesting guided tours and the best entertainment all around the world and supports its customers with the help of a chat. The service's employees suggest guided tours and provide customers with tips on how not to get lost, and the best part is that they continue to help you find your way around a new city even after the guided tour is over. The service's employees will tell you where to find the least crowded beach in Phuket or what to buy in a drugstore if you stepped on a jellyfish, acting like a friend in a foreign country.

Past history
As time was limited, our priority was to update the design, to improve the app's key features while simultaneously getting rid of redundant ones, and to develop native apps. The previous app was made using Swift with webview screens.

The first version had a chat that could only be accessed by using a floating button that would vanish on the guided tour screen. However, access to the chat should be instantaneous, as a significant part of customer support is provided through direct communication with the support service. We pinned the chat button to the lower tab bar. The chat was implemented via integration with the Intercom service.

Everything is finished, the only thing left to do is to make a version for Material Design.

The Android app was made in accordance with the Material Design guidelines and looks almost similar to the iOS version. Some of the categories and the ordering screen are named differently, but both versions appear to function similarly.
